I've never seen a soul. Have you?
Yes. Look in a mirror. That thing that's looking back at you ..
that's a soul ..
That's a body.
That's a reflection (of a body).

There's a lot of misery in many places all over the world today.
Yeah, there is, but He whose birth we celebrate today, has promised
to return, and when He does, misery will be only a memory .. That
hope is one reason why Christmas is so special, and the hope of
that is sufficient to ameliorate some of the world's misery ..
He promised to return during the lifetime of some of those he was
addressing. Didn't happen.
I expect the Wandering Jew, Longinus, the Count St. Germain and Flint
were in the crowd.
and Roger!

No, that is a reflection of a face.
Yes, but what is doing the "looking back at you" part?

Not the mirror.

What if it was a computer generated face whose eyes automatically followed
you. Would that be looking back at you? (Not really, IMO)

What if it was a cat?

What if it was <insert really stupid animal here>?

What if it was a rock with a face carved in it?

was immediately reminded of 1,000 Chinchillas singing Handel's

following in alt.atheism and I was immediately reminded of 1,000

Anyone that can look around at the festive decor of the
Christmas holiday season, watch the grinning fat faces of
happily drooling tots, and hear the majestic carols ringing out
without feeling *some* welling up in the sacred place in their
soul... well, that person must have no soul.
I have a friend living in NYC.
<goodie for you>
(Uh, we DID notice that the post might've been just a *tad* fakey,
a.a, or are we still the Legendary Sucker Group that we were the
last time somebody hit you up for an easy cross-thread?)
Here in alt.atheism we've been getting besieged by this sort of
post.
...What, outrageously fakey x-troll threads that paste you a phoney
line they know you want to hear, hoping you'll all live up to
reputation of biting at the first hook like a bigmouth bass?
Yes, as a matter of fact, we've lately been besieged with them too.
Most of them indirectly by way of YOUR group.
You'll have to take that up with the trolls who start the
crossposting. It's not our job to clean up their mess.
You don't have to continue pooping in the same spot.

True, but we do end up digging out from under an awful lot of someone
else's shit.
